About the role
Responsibilities
- Consolidate routine maintenance processes and act as a change agent for Work Order Management (WOM).
- Provide training and coaching to stakeholders on work prioritization, planning, scheduling, and precision maintenance.
- Monitor maintenance and reliability KPIs, including Wrench Time Analysis and Maturity Process Assessments.
- Implement proactive reliability processes, including Equipment Criticality Evaluation, FMEA/FMECA, and PM optimization.
- Standardize PMs across similar assets and implement tailored Predictive Maintenance programs.
- Improve reactive reliability by analyzing OEE, maintenance costs, and "Bad Actor" equipment.
- Manage contractors for reliability improvement and condition monitoring initiatives.
- Optimize MRO inventory and storeroom management.
- Support sites in determining 5-year M&R Capex budgets and managing asset life cycles.
Requirements
- BS Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or a related Engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in SAP ECC is required.
- Proven experience in Equipment Criticality Evaluation, FMEA, PM creation, and Critical Spares Evaluation.
- Experience with the implementation of Predictive Maintenance tools and programs.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to interact with technical and operations teams.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a demanding safety and quality culture.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% between sites (Kalamazoo, MI and Winona, MN).
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP).
- CRL or other relevant reliability certifications.
- Technical knowledge of industrial equipment best practices (vibration, lubrication, alignment, etc.).
