MP&P Engineer (NDE/Measurement systems)

Responsibilities

• Apply NDE methods including acoustic, electromagnetic, thermal, optical, and radiologic principles to develop novel testing approaches
• Develop new sensor technologies and testing systems for NDE applied to manufacturing and support areas
• Define requirements and lead the development of specifications for tools, equipment, materials, and processes
• Evaluate emerging technologies to address business needs and maintain compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations
• Manage test and audit programs to qualify suppliers and ensure compliance with industry codes (ASNT, ASTM, AWS, ASME, ISO, etc.)
• Support audits, root cause analyses, and failure investigations as a subject matter expert
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians
• Use project management tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
• 5+ years of professional engineering experience
• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Oklahoma City, OK
• Ability to travel a minimum of 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on NDE/NDT engineering experience in a regulated industry such as aerospace, defense, or energy
• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Physics
• Experience with ultrasonic testing, radiography, eddy current testing, and penetrant inspection
• Strong understanding of materials behavior, stress analysis, and fracture mechanics
• Active or current Secret U.S. Security Clearance
