MP&P Engineer-NDE/Measurement systems (Associate level)

Responsibilities

• Define requirements and approve tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes used in engineering design, manufacture, and maintenance.
• Produce specifications and documentation to manage the deployment of technical resources.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for potential application to business needs and integrate them as appropriate.
• Develop and qualify new tools, equipment, and processes to meet aerospace requirements.
• Manage test and audit programs to qualify suppliers.
• Conduct analysis to characterize performance or determine reasons for failure in materials or processes.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions to maintain quality and safety.
• Design and qualify computer and production systems to satisfy user requirements.
• Incorporate environmental health, safety, LEAN, and Quality principles into all research and work procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related non-US equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test).

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience within the aerospace industry.
