MP&L Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily material handling functions and unionized hourly personnel
• Ensure proper material flow from receiving to warehouse storage, production line feed, and finished product delivery
• Coach safety, quality, and productivity to ensure objectives are met through standardized work
• Monitor andon occurrences and serve as a first responder for secondary support
• Support the Ford Production System and synchronous material flow through lean manufacturing practices
• Build Team Leader and Team Member capability and create a conducive work environment
• Implement the Engineering Change Process and ensure flawless introduction of new parts to production
• Identify data gaps in CMMS and take necessary corrective actions

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Proven problem-solving and conflict management skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Capability to assign work to a unionized workforce and hold employees accountable for safety, quality, and throughput

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Management
• Experience in manufacturing assembly, machining, stamping, or subassembly
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and constraint management
• Previous experience in Safety and MP&L roles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
