MP&L Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee material planning and control processes for an injection/blow molding facility.
• Act as the primary customer service contact and liaison for automotive customers.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, and Quality managers to develop production plans, coordinate product launches, and support customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate and supervise MP&L personnel regarding warehousing and production planning functions.
• Direct plant purchasing and vendor releasing functions.
• Monitor inventory adjustments and manage the cycle count program.
• Manage departmental expenses, budgets, and annual performance appraisals.
• Maintain and report on key metrics including TS 16949 compliance, customer delivery ratings, and inventory turns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Supply Chain Management or a similar field.
• Five years of experience in MP&L.
• Knowledge of automotive processes such as EDI and PPAP.
• Experience with MRP and scheduling systems, specifically SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and professional communication skills.
• Ability to identify emerging problems and implement timely corrective actions.
