Mover

Responsibilities

• Removing boxed materials from shelving
• Moving boxes around the facility using carts and dollies
• Keeping records in the correct order
• Placing boxes onto assigned shelving locations
• Lifting and carrying boxes safely
• Helping with barcode scanning or inventory tracking
• Keeping work areas neat, quiet, and obstacle-free
• Following on-site safety, security, and handling guidelines

Requirements

• Ability to handle repetitive physical tasks
• Able to lift and move boxes up to ~20 lbs
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual
• Willingness to follow safety and security rules
• Ability to pass a clean criminal background check and drug screen
• Steel or composite toed shoes required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with moving, warehouse work, or facilities support
• Familiarity with quiet, controlled settings like libraries or archives
• Comfortable working as part of a team
