Moulding Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert in injection moulding, providing guidance on technical issues and project risks globally.
• Develop, qualify, and validate moulding and ancillary processes and tooling for new precision parts.
• Optimize manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Production, and QA teams to ensure moulding solutions align with production goals and safety standards.
• Support manufacturing process validation activities (DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ) within a regulated environment.
• Drive standardization and best practices across the global moulding engineering department.

Requirements

• B.S. in Rubber/Plastics, Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in injection moulding process development and debugging.
• Proficiency in using scientific injection moulding principles in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience implementing complete injection moulding cells and required auxiliary equipment.
• Strong technical communication and documentation skills, including the ability to write technical reports.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in root cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Background in medical device manufacturing and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
