Motorsports Simulator Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate and support advanced driver-in-the-loop simulator sessions for race teams
• Rapidly troubleshoot technical and operational issues to minimize downtime
• Partner with engineers and race teams to optimize simulator usage and competition preparation
• Maintain workspace organization and adhere to safety and operational standards
• Identify opportunities to enhance simulator workflows, tools, and operational efficiency
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support cross-training efforts

Requirements

• Associate degree in a STEM-related field with 2+ years of professional hands-on mechanical experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field with relevant co-op, internship, or Formula SAE experience
• Experience working in an electromechanical environment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
• Ability to work the afternoon shift (Monday-Friday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM) with flexibility for other shifts as needed
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience
• Experience supporting motorsports simulation, data acquisition, or analysis
• Familiarity with computer-controlled systems, hardware, and instrumentation
