Motor Engineer

Responsibilities

• Check incident circumstances against estimated work to ensure damage relates to the incident
• Verify that estimated costs are fair and reasonable
• Ensure estimates align with customer-specific rates for network repairers
• Amend estimates to correct customer-specific rates when necessary
• Negotiate with non-network repairers to reduce inflated costs
• Authorize incident-related work for repairers
• Correctly value vehicles for total loss scenarios

Requirements

• Engineering background
• Body shop experience
• Experience using Audatex
• Experience using Case Management Systems
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
