Motion Designer

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise, design, and execute motion graphics for digital platforms including social, web, video, and campaigns
• Take ownership of projects from initial brief to final delivery
• Collaborate with designers, creatives, and stakeholders to develop visual narratives
• Translate static designs into polished, dynamic motion pieces
• Maintain brand consistency while contributing creative input
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members
• Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and techniques

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in motion design or a similar role
• Strong understanding of motion design principles such as timing, pacing, composition, and storytelling
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects
• Solid working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
• Strong design sensibility including typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating a range of motion and design projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro
• Experience working with branding, campaigns, or social-first content
• Understanding of sound design and audio syncing
