Motion Designer

Responsibilities

• Produce experimental and engaging motion designs for paid advertising to drive user acquisition and engagement
• Transform static designs into high-quality animated content aligned with brand guidelines
• Develop scalable motion graphics templates and systems in collaboration with internal and external agencies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including strategists and creative directors, to develop creative concepts
• Iterate on designs based on performance insights and stakeholder feedback
• Partner with the Global Motion Team to optimize motion templates specifically for the Japanese market
• Stay current on design trends, motion techniques, and local pop culture

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional design experience
• Proven experience in visual design and advertising across various media and platforms
• Business level fluency in Japanese (N1+ ability to speak, write, and read)
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator)
• Strong understanding of motion design concepts and technical execution
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multimedia content creation
• Fluency in English (speaking, writing, and reading)
• Deep understanding of Japanese culture and consumer sensibilities
• Expertise in Japanese design trends with a global mindset
