MOT Technician

Responsibilities

• Implement traffic control measures to protect the public and team members
• Set up and dismantle lane closures and other necessary traffic control equipment
• Safely load, unload, and transport signs, cones, and barricades
• Direct traffic around and through construction sites using flagging and signaling techniques
• Perform routine safety and maintenance checks on equipment and tools
• Keep the worksite clean and organized
• Complete all job-related paperwork and documentation
• Monitor job site conditions and adjust traffic control strategies as needed

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License with a safe driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift, carry, or move 50 lbs
• Ability to perform physical tasks including extended standing, walking, bending, and kneeling
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and 10+ hour days
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in traffic control, flagging, or lane closure operations
• Related Certifications such as Flagger, Traffic Control, ATSSA, or MOT
