Mortgage Specialist

Responsibilities

• Cultivate, build, and manage relationships with a referral network to drive new mortgage business
• Guide customers through the entire mortgage application and processing lifecycle
• Identify sales opportunities and execute marketing programs to increase market share
• Partner with branch teams to ensure seamless customer hand-offs and documentation completion
• Deliver exceptional customer service by providing expert advice on home financing solutions
• Stay current on industry trends, consumer needs, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation in internal systems to track customer opportunities and transactions

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in mortgage lending or a related financial field
• Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or equivalent experience
• In-depth knowledge of the mortgage lending process and regulatory requirements
• Strong sales, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proven expertise in customer service and relationship management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Functional knowledge of personal banking, investments, or commercial lending
