About the role
Responsibilities
- Cultivate, build, and manage relationships with a referral network to drive new mortgage business.
- Proactively contact referral and origination sources to discuss home financing solutions.
- Develop and execute effective marketing and sales programs to achieve business results.
- Guide customers through the entire mortgage application and processing lifecycle.
- Partner with branch teams to ensure seamless customer hand-offs and documentation finalization.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by providing expertise and responsive support.
- Stay updated on industry trends, consumer needs, and regulatory requirements for mortgage products.
- Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations for business strategy.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in mortgage or personal banking.
- Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- In-depth understanding of the mortgage lending process and regulatory requirements.
- Strong interpersonal, sales, and negotiation skills.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Expert knowledge of relationship sales and self-management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Functional knowledge of personal banking, investments, and commercial lending.
- Strong understanding of the broader real estate industry and mortgage market.
- Experience in managing national or local partnerships for business origination.
