Mortgage Retail Sales Senior Manager

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all aspects of market sales activity, including loan origination, customer experience, and risk management.
• Manage a team of five to eight branch managers, focusing on growing, retaining, and developing talent.
• Set strategic direction for new business development, market growth, and program management within the assigned market.
• Develop and cultivate internal and external referral partnerships with realtors, builders, and financial service professionals.
• Deliver superior growth and profit by meeting or exceeding annual sales targets in volume, profit, and market share.
• Manage market budgets, re-forecast activities, and the Profit and Loss Statement.
• Ensure all employees understand and follow company policies, regulations, and laws to manage risk and compliance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of Mortgage Retail Sales experience (or equivalent through work, training, military, or education).
• 3+ years of management or leadership experience.
• SAFE registration required at the time of employment.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel within the market to meet with branch locations and partners.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven ability to build, motivate, and retain a sales leadership team.
• Deep knowledge of sales prospecting and generating referrals.
• 2+ years of recruiting experience.
• BS/BA degree or higher.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
