Mortgage Production Assistant

Responsibilities

• Pull and analyze customer credit, income, and asset documents to structure loans
• Run DU, stack and submit files, and request/clear underwriting conditions
• Act as the primary contact between clients and Loan Originators
• Take application information over the phone and schedule appointments
• Track requested documents in Encompass and/or Salesforce
• Review documentation within 24 hours for discrepancies and omissions
• Work with Mortgage Loan Originators to resolve file and document issues
• Comply with company policy and state/federal compliance guidelines

Requirements

• Two years of professional office experience
• One year of mortgage or banking industry experience
• NMLS License required under the S.A.F.E. Act
• General knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA guidelines
• Prior experience with Encompass LOS or other mortgage processing software
• Proficiency in Google Docs
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Encompass, Blend, and/or Salesforce
• 1+ years of origination experience
• National or state-level NMLS licensing within the past 12 months
