Mortgage Loan Officer

Responsibilities

• Consult and educate clients to assess financing needs and guide them toward suitable mortgage solutions
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial advisors to create a seamless home-buying experience
• Serve as the primary point of contact for home financing inquiries, with expertise in jumbo transactions
• Manage an ongoing pipeline of loans including home purchases, refinances, and HELOCs
• Drive a best-in-class conversion funnel leveraging data to inform actions
• Work cross-functionally with product operations and technology teams
• Obtain mortgage licensing in an estimated 15-20 states
• Stay current on financial market trends and mortgage industry developments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 4+ years of mortgage lending experience
• Active NMLS license or registration
• Expertise in mortgage guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac) with preference for Jumbo and non-QM loans
• Must reside in the Greater DFW area
• Ability to pass a fingerprint background check for FINRA qualification
