Mortgage Loan Closer

Responsibilities

• Prepare closing documents in accordance with loan terms, investor guidelines, and regulations
• Review final loan documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
• Confirm closing conditions have been met and coordinate funding requests
• Communicate with title companies, escrow agents, and attorneys to resolve issues
• Maintain a pipeline of loans from initial closing disclosure through funding
• Prepare and send initial closing disclosures and changes of circumstances disclosures
• Work with settlement agents to balance necessary closing documents
• Request wires timely for loans funding and provide authorization to release funds
• Assist with post-closing and audit requests

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in mortgage lending or financial services
• 3+ years of experience in mortgage closing or a related role
• Solid understanding of TRID, RESPA, and other regulatory frameworks
• Proficiency with loan origination systems and closing software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
