Mortgage Insurance Servicing & Claims Analyst I

Responsibilities

• Process routine servicing transactions including activation support, premium processing, and certificate maintenance
• Assist with claims intake and documentation review for completeness
• Respond to standard customer inquiries via phone, email, and portal
• Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs)
• Support the Online Self-Service Portal by assisting users and escalating issues
• Perform data entry, validation, and reconciliation activities across systems and reports
• Assist in generating operational reports and tracking basic metrics
• Identify discrepancies and escalate issues to senior team members
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed
• Deliver customer service to internal and external partners

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
• 0–2 years relevant experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic understanding of customer service principles
• Ability to follow processes and procedures consistently
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Ability to learn quickly in a structured environment
