About the role
Responsibilities
- Deal with inbound and outbound telephone calls regarding early and late stage arrears on regulated and unregulated accounts
- Listen to and question customers to understand the root cause of their financial situation
- Resolve customer enquiries aiming for first contact resolution
- Identify and attempt to resolve potential customer complaints
- Identify vulnerable customers and arrange appropriate support or signposting
Requirements
- Collections experience within the Mortgage industry
- Collections experience in a regulated industry
- Experience managing the full collections journey from early to late arrears
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Strong understanding of positive customer outcomes
- Empathetic approach with active listening and effective questioning skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
