Mortgage Adviser

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on UK residential and Buy-to-Let mortgage solutions
• Support UK resident and expatriate clients with a range of lending requirements
• Generate new business through internal referrals, introducers, and professional connections
• Manage the full mortgage process from initial enquiry through to completion
• Structure and place complex cases including non-standard income and portfolio landlords
• Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders and business partners
• Work collaboratively with Private Wealth Advisers to integrate mortgage advice into wider financial planning
• Maintain high standards of FCA compliance, documentation, and client outcomes

Requirements

• CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) is essential
• Previous experience advising on UK residential and Buy-to-Let mortgages
• Strong knowledge of the UK mortgage market and lender criteria
• Experience handling complex or high-value cases, including expatriates and non-standard income structures
• Commercially minded with strong relationship-building and business development skills
