About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and serve authentic Moroccan dishes
- Develop weekly menus incorporating Moroccan and Qatari influences
- Source high-quality, fresh ingredients from local markets
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
- Manage kitchen inventory and minimize waste
- Collaborate with household staff for seamless meal service
- Adapt recipes for dietary restrictions or allergies
- Prepare special meals for family events and gatherings
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Moroccan chef in private households or high-end restaurants
- Extensive knowledge of Moroccan culinary traditions and flavor profiles
- Familiarity with Qatari cuisine and dietary preferences
- Strong skills in menu planning and food presentation
- Current food safety certification
- 10+ years of experience
- Age 35+
- Fluency in Arabic and/or French is highly desirable
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
