About the Company

ZHD Stevedores is a family business that has been providing 24/7 services in the loading and unloading of dry bulk such as coal, scrap, biomass, salt, ores, and minerals for over 50 years. We operate in Dordrecht, Moerdijk, and Rotterdam with our mobile harbor cranes and floating cranes.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform preventive maintenance on bobcats, shovels, and forklifts based on the maintenance plan
• Independently perform repairs and extensive maintenance work
• Carry out structural inspections on mobile equipment
• Record performed work and signal potential risks
• Analyze malfunctions and report outcomes/improvement opportunities
• Proactively participate in projects aimed at optimizing the Equipment Management department

Requirements

• Technical MBO 3/4 diploma or equivalent working and thinking level
• Demonstrable work experience in harbor equipment or motivated to become proficient in this field
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proactive team player
• Flexible and result-oriented attitude
• Driver's license B, E is a plus
• Good command of the Dutch language in speech and writing
• Willingness to follow relevant training/courses
