Monitoring & Observability Engineer

About the Company

Since 1959, Bankgirot has provided the technical structure that connects Sweden's banks in the national payment system. The company is currently undergoing a major technical development journey to modernize infrastructure while maintaining the stability of Sweden's essential payment flows.

Responsibilities

• Build and further develop solutions for metrics, logs, and traces
• Develop the observability platform using Grafana and similar tools
• Create dashboards, alarms, and notification flows
• Automate recurring processes within operations and monitoring
• Work with troubleshooting, performance optimization, and incident management

Requirements

• Experience with observability or monitoring tools such as Grafana, Splunk, or Prometheus
• Understanding of how metrics, logs, and traces are used in complex systems
• Experience with infrastructure, operations, or platform-related work
• Experience working with Linux, Windows, or container-based environments
• Proficiency in Swedish and English
