About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement the AP monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) plan to achieve program goals.
- Provide technical support for the preparation of AP Design Documents, grant/PNS project designs, and beneficiary tracking.
- Develop monitoring and evaluation plans, budgets, and contextually appropriate models for community feedback and response mechanisms.
- Build the capacity of staff and operating model partners in research, learning methodologies, and accountability systems.
- Ensure all monitoring and evaluation processes align with national strategies, ministry policies, and organizational standards.
- Document and disseminate key lessons learned to relevant stakeholders and participate in practitioner networks.
- Coordinate program evaluations, baselines, and research activities to ensure high-quality data and measurable contributions to child well-being.
- Manage the MEAL strategy design within short-cycle project developments and provide technical supervision to the MEL Officer.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social development, statistics, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEAL) work.
- Proficiency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken), with a minimum TOEFL score of 450.
- Proven experience in conducting surveys, data analysis, and producing survey reports.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including visits to remote or challenging project sites.
- Strong cultural sensitivity and an understanding of the local development context.
- Adequate physical health to meet the demands of frequent fieldwork.
