About the role

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement the AP monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) plan to achieve program goals and improve partner capacity.
  • Provide technical support for the preparation of AP Design Documents and grant/PNS project designs, including the development of ITT, DIP, and MTT.
  • Build the capacity of staff and operating model partners in program monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning methodologies.
  • Develop and test contextually appropriate models for community feedback, response mechanisms, and documenting lessons learned.
  • Ensure all monitoring and evaluation processes align with relevant national strategies, ministry policies, and sponsorship standards.
  • Coordinate program evaluations, baselines, and research activities to ensure high-quality data and measurable contributions to child well-being.
  • Manage the MEAL strategy design within short-cycle project developments and provide technical advice on budget preparation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social development, statistics, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEAL).
  • Proven experience in conducting surveys, data analysis, and producing survey reports.
  • Proficiency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and spoken), with a minimum TOEFL score of 450.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including visits to remote or challenging project sites.
  • Strong understanding of development work and cultural sensitivity to local contexts.
  • Adequate physical health to meet the demands of frequent fieldwork.
