Monitoring and Testing Manager

Responsibilities

• Execute and improve a risk-based compliance monitoring and testing program covering BSA/AML, sanctions, complaints, and marketing
• Adapt testing scope to account for obligations across multiple FDIC- and OCC-regulated bank partners
• Perform control testing including transaction sampling, process walkthroughs, and data analysis
• Identify control gaps and partner with stakeholders to develop remediation plans
• Prepare clear reports for senior leadership and partner banks regarding findings and remediation status
• Maintain organized, defensible, and audit-ready testing documentation
• Conduct periodic risk assessments to inform the annual monitoring plan
• Collaborate cross-functionally to incorporate new products and features into the testing framework

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in compliance monitoring, testing, internal audit, or risk management in banking or fintech
• Strong understanding of consumer protection, UDAAP, BSA/AML, and OFAC requirements
• Experience designing and executing testing programs and control sampling
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical control assessments
• Excellent analytical and writing skills
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• CRCM, CAMS, or similar certification
• Experience working with partner banks in a fintech program management environment
• Familiarity with data analytics tools and automated control testing
