About the role

Responsibilities

  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration, and verification of radiation and contamination measurement equipment.
  • Collaborate on the implementation and commissioning of new radiological protection service equipment.
  • Perform and review laboratory procedures for equipment.
  • Conduct external and internal dosimetry for personnel, including administrative management of the dosimetry service.
  • Perform radiological surveillance as part of the Power Plant's monitoring program.
  • Control and monitor tasks involving risks of exposure to ionizing radiation.

Requirements

  • Higher Vocational Training (CFGS) in specialties related to electricity and electronics.
  • Specific qualifications such as: Técnico Superior en Automatización y Robótica Industrial, Técnico Superior en Mantenimiento Electrónico, or Técnico Superior en Sistemas Electrotécnicos y Automatizados.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Availability to participate in on-call shifts (retenes).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification as a Técnico Experto en Protección Radiológica.
  • Residence in the area near the Cofrentes Nuclear Power Plant.
