MoMo Animation Performance Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Lead MoMo Animator to maintain an organized, production-ready environment
• Manage the performance schedule and track daily progress of scenes and sequences
• Monitor readiness of scenes, puppets, characters, sets, and cameras
• Coordinate the Director’s performance-related schedule, including briefings and reviews
• Serve as the primary communication bridge between Performance, Story, Editorial, and Production
• Work with Editorial to ensure storyboards and sequence builds are properly prepped
• Track Director and Editorial notes to ensure updates are delivered on time
• Facilitate performance reviews, screenings, and cross-team sync meetings
• Take detailed notes during Director sessions and distribute action items
• Coordinate with other department managers to prevent workflow bottlenecks
• Track status of performance-related resources like puppets, props, and scene setups
• Support budget tracking and departmental organization
• Uphold all Health & Safety protocols on set and production floors

Requirements

• 2+ years in animation, VFX, or film production
• Strong understanding of pre-production and editorial workflows
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
• Proficient in production tracking tools such as ShotGrid or Airtable
• Proficiency in Avid or willingness to learn
• Proactive, solutions-first mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with storyboarding and editorial timelines
• Experience with voice recording coordination or script prep
• Knowledge of production file naming conventions and version tracking
