Molecular Biology Production Associate Scientist

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily molecular biology production activities including gene synthesis
• Follow laboratory SOPs, quality standards, and safety requirements
• Support production goals for quality, productivity, and on-time delivery
• Assist with routine troubleshooting and process optimization
• Coordinate daily activities and workload planning with team leaders
• Participate in Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Develop foundational leadership and project management skills

Requirements

• Master's degree in biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Genetics, or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences with relevant experience is also considered
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work on-site in Piscataway, NJ

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with molecular cloning techniques (plasmid construction, restriction digestion, ligation, PCR, transformation)
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese
• Laboratory internship or undergraduate research experience
• Hands-on experience in a laboratory or production setting
