Molding Technician

Responsibilities

• Execute machine startups and adjustments, ensuring compliance with validated parameters
• Monitor and control critical process variables to guarantee product stability and quality
• Detect and troubleshoot technical issues in molding processes to prevent production downtime
• Support the mounting and dismounting of molds, ensuring correct installation and cleanliness
• Perform mold changeovers according to the production schedule
• Document parameters, adjustments, and process improvements
• Issue work orders to Maintenance and Mold Shop departments for fault correction
• Halt production when anomalies affecting quality are detected and implement immediate corrective actions
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to achieve production goals
• Comply with internal procedures and industrial safety standards

Requirements

• Technical degree in molding, plastics, electronics, electromechanics, or similar field
• 3 years of verifiable experience in plastic injection molding processes and machine maintenance
• Experience with mold setup and quick changeovers
• Proficiency operating injection machines such as Engel, Battenfeld, or Arburg
• Knowledge of Engel, Battenfeld, or Yaskawa robots
• Experience with peripheral equipment including dryers, thermoregulators, and grinders
• Experience working with engineering resins
• Experience in the injection of cosmetic and precision parts
• Ability to operate overhead cranes
