Molding Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise, plan, and coordinate molding operations on the assigned shift to maintain production schedules, quality, and cost standards.
• Organize and assign work to maximize employee skills and expedite production schedules.
• Improve productivity through employee training and the implementation of lean manufacturing practices.
• Lead employee training and meetings to maintain open lines of communication.
• Evaluate work performance and provide coaching or counseling to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Focus on reducing scrap to lower production costs and prevent the shipment of substandard products.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment through the implementation of 5S standards.
• Maintain conformance with company policies and work regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in molding operations.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Knowledge of TS 16949 requirements.
• Strong leadership, motivation, and supervisory qualities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines.
• Professional demeanor and ability to react quickly in critical or stressful situations.
