Molding Operator

Responsibilities

• Remove parts from various injection molding machines
• Perform cosmetic finishing tasks including degating with ceramic knives, sanding, flaming, and hand trimming
• Inspect components for quality and perform assembly functions as required
• Package component parts into cardboard containers, part racks, or totes
• Maintain production and scrap records and keep the work area clean and orderly
• Follow company IATF 1649 and ISO 14001 policies and procedures
• Monitor processes and stop production in the event of nonconformity

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• 1+ year of experience in the automotive industry
• Basic math, reading, and comprehension skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist for the duration of a shift
• Strong attention to detail and quality orientation
