Molding Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with correct process inspection documents, screens, and workflow instructions
• Perform visual in-line verifications and inspections to identify defects based on workmanship standards
• Run products and interpret manufacturing instructions accurately
• Utilize visual aids such as microscopes and magnifying lenses for detailed inspections
• Operate scales to weigh and measure quantities and products
• Identify, label, and verify production runs
• Scan products and enter data into shop floor control or manual tracking systems
• Document workload, including the calculation of inspected products and production scrap
• Communicate process problems to peers, supervisors, and manufacturing support
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and practice safe work habits

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and comprehend moderately complex instructions
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to interpret assembly prints
• Strong visual inspection skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work with speed and accuracy in a manufacturing environment
