Molding Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist the Engineering Team with continuous improvement projects
• Support the plastic injection mold design process
• Complete assigned work orders and provide 2D and 3D models
• Attend design status, customer/internal reviews, and continuous improvement meetings
• Update design guidelines, standards, and documentation for Process Guides and CCLs to ensure compliance

Requirements

• Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related major
• Currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited university
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Knowledge of SolidWorks CAD and troubleshooting
• Ability to work 40 hours per week in-person for a 10-12 week summer assignment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship experience with the plastic injection molding process
• Enthusiasm for working in a manufacturing environment
• Highly collaborative, creative, and excellent communication skills
