About the role

Responsibilities

  • Operate injection molding machines under supervision to produce molded components according to specifications
  • Load raw materials, monitor machine cycles, and ensure molds are properly prepared
  • Conduct basic in-process checks using gauges or calipers and report issues to leadership
  • Identify and report molding defects such as flash, short shots, or burns
  • Assist with material changes, purging, and housekeeping of molding equipment
  • Record production data, scrap, and downtime as directed
  • Follow all safety guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
  • Ability to read, write, and understand basic English
  • Reliable transportation (location is not accessible by public transit)
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing experience
