Mold Repair Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspect molds for wear, damage, defects, and areas requiring repair
• Repair molds using appropriate tools, equipment, and repair techniques
• Modify molds in accordance with engineering changes and production requirements
• Maintain documentation and inspection reports tracking mold history
• Perform grinding, polishing, fitting, machining, and finishing work
• Diagnose and resolve production issues to minimize downtime
• Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (Preferred)
• Previous relevant experience (Preferred)
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, grinders, and machining equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience using precision measuring instruments
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English
