Modeling and Simulation (M&S) Analyst

Responsibilities

• Write VV&A (Verification, Validation, and Accreditation) plans and reports
• Assist in identifying M&S intended use statements and defining requirements
• Generate acceptability criteria to determine if M&S requirements are met
• Conduct M&S risk assessments and accreditation/V&V activities
• Interface with program personnel, engineers, and subject matter experts
• Create detailed technical analyses to inform users of simulation strengths and limitations

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering or Physics
• Active Security Clearance
• U.S. citizenship
• Strong technical writing skills with the ability to explain complex analyses to lay audiences
• Ability to work effectively in small groups and interface with customers and outside agencies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EM and IR propagation, datalinks, air combat, or military weapons
• Previous experience in Modeling and Simulation (M&S)
• Experience with VV&A processes
