Model-based Developer Drive Software | eBike

Responsibilities

• Develop intelligent software functions for eBikes including walk assist and gear shift detection
• Manage the entire software lifecycle from concept and implementation to validation
• Create robust, maintainable code with unit and integration tests
• Validate functions using MATLAB/Simulink simulations and direct bicycle testing
• Perform systematic problem analysis and root cause investigation for system errors
• Collaborate with international teams in Germany to align on requirements and interfaces

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Engineering, or a comparable field
• Professional experience in model-based software development using MATLAB/Simulink
• Strong understanding of control theory
• Knowledge of electric machine control, specifically BLDC motors
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Passion for cycling and understanding user experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of embedded C programming
