Mobile Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout the assigned territory to provide technical consultation, repair, and calibration of hydraulic, pneumatic, and manual tools.
• Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical tools, pumps, and equipment to address customer needs.
• Build and maintain customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities through cold-calling and prospecting.
• Manage service vehicle inventory, ensuring parts and tools are available and maintaining accurate records.
• Complete all necessary paperwork for repairs and calibrations and provide regular activity reports to the Branch Manager.
• Train customers on proper tool operation and maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Maintain the service vehicle according to safety standards and scheduled maintenance requirements.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of hands-on mechanical or technical experience.
• Clean and valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift or move up to 75 pounds.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Access to a safe, preferably covered, space near your home to park the service vehicle overnight.
• Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
