Mobile Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Perform routine blood draws and specimen collection in patients' homes with a high standard of excellence
• Collect relevant patient information, including vital signs and heart/lung tones
• Ensure all samples are properly labeled and coordinated for drop-off to labs or shipment facilities
• Manage daily schedules and patient charting using mobile devices and HIPAA-secure messaging apps
• Maintain proper supplies and PPE to ensure safe and professional patient care
• Provide a compassionate, empathetic, and welcoming experience for patients of all ages

Requirements

• Prior phlebotomy experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Valid Driver’s License and current vehicle insurance
• Reliable transportation with your own vehicle
• Ability to navigate patient homes, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 10 pounds
• Technologically savvy with experience using mobile devices for professional tasks
• Ability to pass a national background check and DMV check
• Proof of program graduation

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in advancing clinical skill sets and learning new evidence-based practices
• Experience working independently in a mobile or home-health environment
