Mobile Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Provide routine health services including blood draws, vital signs, and heart/lung tones directly in patients' homes
• Manage daily schedules and supplies using modern mobile technology and HIPAA-secure messaging
• Ensure all specimens are collected accurately, labeled properly, and coordinated for lab drop-off or shipment
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism, compassion, and patient care during every home visit
• Navigate patient homes independently, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 20 pounds

Requirements

• Prior experience as a professional phlebotomist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Valid Driver’s License and current vehicle insurance
• Reliable personal transportation to travel to patient locations
• Ability to pass a national background check and DMV check
• Required vaccinations: COVID (including booster), MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB (within past year), Flu, and TDaP (within past 10 years)
• Ability to physically navigate various home environments
