Mobile Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Provide routine health services, including blood draws and vital signs, directly to patients in their homes.
• Prepare all necessary supplies and PPE before beginning daily patient visits.
• Use mobile technology to access schedules, perform charting, and coordinate care via HIPAA-secure messaging.
• Collect patient samples and vital signs with a high standard of excellence and patient comfort.
• Ensure all specimens are properly labeled and coordinate drop-off to appropriate labs or shipment facilities.
• Maintain a professional, compassionate, and empathetic connection with patients of all ages.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a phlebotomist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Valid Driver’s License and current vehicle insurance.
• Reliable personal transportation to travel to patient homes.
• Ability to physically navigate patient homes, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 20 pounds.
• Ability to pass a national background check, DMV check, and clinical license search.
• Required vaccinations: COVID (including booster), MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB (within the past year), Flu, and TDaP.
• Ability to provide a transcript of program graduation.
