Mobile Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes to perform routine blood draws and collect vital signs
• Ensure all necessary medical supplies and PPE are prepared for daily patient visits
• Use mobile technology to access schedules, perform charting, and coordinate care via secure messaging
• Collect patient samples and vital signs with a high standard of excellence and patient comfort
• Properly label all specimens and coordinate drop-off to appropriate labs or shipment facilities
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and compassion during all patient interactions

Requirements

• Prior phlebotomy experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Valid Driver’s License and current vehicle insurance
• Reliable personal transportation to travel to patient homes
• Ability to physically navigate homes, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 20 pounds
• Required vaccinations: COVID (including booster), MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB (within past year), Flu, and TDaP (within past 10 years)
• Ability to pass a national background check, DMV check, and clinical license search
