Mobile Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative care and diagnostic services, including phlebotomy and specimen collection, directly to patients in their homes
• Manage daily schedules and commute to various patient locations using modern mobile technology
• Perform a variety of clinical tasks such as diabetic foot screenings, retina exams, and ECGs
• Ensure all medical samples are properly labeled and coordinated for drop-off to labs or shipment facilities
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, patient confidentiality, and compassionate care

Requirements

• Proven experience in venipuncture
• State required licensure or national certification relevant to the role
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Valid Driver’s License and current vehicle insurance
• Reliable transportation and the ability to navigate patient homes, including climbing stairs
• Ability to carry up to 20 pounds while walking
• Proficiency with mobile devices for charting and secure messaging
• Ability to pass a national background check and DMV check

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a remote or mobile healthcare environment
• Interest in learning advanced clinical skills such as digital stethoscope use and diabetic retina imaging
