Mobile Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Provide diverse preventative care and diagnostic services, including phlebotomy and specimen collection, directly to patients in their homes
• Manage daily schedules and commute to various patient locations using modern mobile technology
• Perform a variety of clinical tasks such as diabetic foot screenings, retina exams, and ECGs
• Ensure all collected samples are properly labeled and coordinated for drop-off to labs or shipment facilities
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, patient confidentiality, and compassionate care

Requirements

• State required licensure or national certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proven experience in venipuncture
• Valid Driver’s License and current vehicle insurance
• Reliable transportation and ability to use a personal vehicle for travel
• Ability to physically navigate patient homes, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 20 pounds
• Proficiency with mobile devices for charting and secure messaging
• Ability to pass national background and DMV checks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a mobile healthcare or home-based care setting
• Interest in learning advanced clinical skills such as digital stethoscope use and diabetic retina imaging
