Mobile Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile diagnostic and preventative care services, including phlebotomy, specimen collection, and vitals checks, directly to patients in their homes.
• Perform a variety of clinical tasks such as diabetic foot screenings, retina exams, and ECGs.
• Manage sample collection by ensuring proper labeling and coordinating drop-offs to labs or shipment facilities.
• Utilize modern mobile technology for scheduling, charting, and HIPAA-secure care coordination.
• Maintain high levels of professionalism, compassion, and patient confidentiality while working autonomously.

Requirements

• Proven experience in venipuncture.
• State-required licensure or national certification relevant to the role.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid Driver’s License and current vehicle insurance.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to navigate patient homes, including climbing stairs.
• Compliance with vaccination requirements (including COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB, Influenza, and TDaP).
• Ability to pass a national background check and DMV check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with digital stethoscopes and capturing diabetic retina images.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to customer service excellence.
