Responsibilities

• Ensure all proper supplies and PPE are prepared for the day's patients
• Navigate to patient homes using modern scheduling technology
• Perform various services including phlebotomy, specimen collection, diabetic foot screenings, retina exams, and ECGs
• Collect relevant patient information and build meaningful connections with diverse patients
• Properly label collected samples and coordinate drop-off to labs or shipment facilities

Requirements

• Previous experience in venipuncture
• State required licensure and/or proof of training
• National certification (for states without state-level licensure requirements)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Valid Driver’s License and current vehicle insurance
• Reliable transportation and ability to use personal vehicle for travel
• Ability to physically navigate patient homes, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 20 pounds
• Ability to pass national background check, DMV check, and clinical license search
• Proof of vaccination for COVID-19 (including booster), MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, TB, Influenza, and TDaP
• Proficiency with mobile devices for charting and HIPAA secure messaging

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in learning advanced skills such as capturing diabetic retina images and using digital stethoscopes
