Mobile Phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home phlebotomy services, including blood draws, vital signs collection, and heart/lung tones.
• Manage daily schedules and supplies using modern mobile technology and HIPAA-secure tools.
• Ensure all patient samples are properly labeled and coordinated for drop-off to labs or shipment facilities.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism, compassion, and empathy while working independently in patient homes.
• Navigate patient environments, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 20 pounds of equipment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a professional phlebotomist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
• Reliable personal transportation to travel to various patient locations.
• Ability to pass a national background check, DMV check, and clinical license verification.
• Proficiency with mobile devices for digital charting and secure messaging.
• Physical ability to navigate homes and manage medical supplies.
