About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide preventative care and diagnostic services, including phlebotomy and specimen collection, directly to patients in their homes.
- Perform various clinical services such as diabetic foot screenings, retina exams, and ECGs.
- Manage sample collection by ensuring proper labeling and coordinating drop-offs to labs or shipment facilities.
- Utilize mobile technology for efficient scheduling, charting, and HIPAA-secure care coordination.
- Maintain all necessary supplies and PPE to ensure high-quality, safe patient care.
- Navigate patient homes independently while maintaining a professional and compassionate presence.
Requirements
- State required licensure or proof of training.
- National certification (for states without state-level licensure requirements).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid Driver’s License and current vehicle insurance.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to use your own vehicle to travel to patient homes.
- Proven experience in venipuncture.
- Ability to physically navigate patient homes, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to pass a national background check and DMV check.
- Compliance with vaccination requirements (including COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a mobile or autonomous healthcare environment.
- Proficiency with mobile devices and digital health tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think "out of the box" in a fast-paced setting.
